About the Project
Lumify Energy works with landowners and investors to maximise financial returns from renewable energy projects. They already had a defined brand identity but required a designer to apply it consistently across multiple formats and platforms.
The scope of work included print materials, email design, and website UI elements, all aligned with their existing brand system and marketing goals.
The Challenge

The Approach
The approach focused on using the existing brand system as a foundation while introducing flexibility and variation through layout, composition, and visual hierarchy. Each asset was designed to feel consistent but not repetitive.
Brand Familiarisation
Reviewed existing brand guidelines, including colour palettes, typography, imagery rules, and illustration styles. All assets were stored and managed through shared documentation, which informed every design decision.
Print and Marketing Materials
Designed pitch decks and PDF guides to support client presentations and explain Lumify Energy’s services. These materials were structured to communicate complex information clearly while maintaining a professional and engaging visual style.
Email and Newsletter Design
Created custom email templates in Figma, designed for clarity and readability. These were then exported into HTML and integrated into Mailchimp, allowing for consistent and branded newsletter communication.
Website UI and Conversion Elements
Designed website elements such as calls to action and blog components in Figma. These were focused on improving engagement and guiding users toward key actions while staying aligned with the brand.
System Consistency and Refinement
Applied consistent design principles across all outputs, ensuring that print, digital, and email assets worked together as part of a unified system. Adjustments were made to maintain clarity, hierarchy, and visual balance across formats.
The Outcome
The result was a cohesive set of marketing and digital assets that extended the Lumify Energy brand across multiple platforms.
The designs maintained strict alignment with existing guidelines while introducing enough variation to keep the visuals engaging. This allowed the business to present itself consistently across presentations, email communications, and web interactions.
The system supports ongoing marketing efforts, making it easier to produce new materials without needing to redefine the visual approach each time.
